Become a Food Vendor

FOOD VENDORS

You are a Food Vendor if:

  • You cook, heat, or prepare food on-site

  • You serve any food that needs to be kept cold or hot for safety

  • You offer samples (yes, even coffee!)

  • You prepare high-risk foods like meat, dairy, cooked grains, etc. – even if they’re packaged

  • You sell food made in a commercial kitchen (not a home kitchen)
     

Example: Selling grilled corn or hot samosas? You’re a Food Vendor.
Giving out jam samples? Still a Food Vendor.
Brewing coffee to hand out (with milk or sugar)? Food Vendor. 
Black coffee only? You’re good—no permit required.

Product, service, or food vendor? We welcome all — just make sure you fit one of our approved categories. Food vendors require Interior Health permits.

BOOKING OPTIONS

Pre-booking online is strongly encouraged — it guarantees your space and helps us plan. Last-minute sign-ups may be accepted at the gate if space allows.

WHAT TO BRING

Bring your own table and setup. Electricity is limited and not guaranteed. More details in the guidelines below.

ONSITE INFO

Check in at the front gate with the Market Team.
Show your payment confirmation if prepaid. 
We move indoors if it rains.
